Has anyone any experience with the Elemental studio flash kits?

Elemental M Series

This is my first time buying.
I've also been looking at the Lencarta, SmartFlash Twin Softbox Kit with background but am not sure what to choose.

I've used Elemental quite a bit in the past, excellent kit, well made metal casing, fan cooled...

I'd highly recommend them... The guys there are really helpful if you give them a bell, talk through what you want and they'll tell you what's best for you

I have the Elemental G&J combo kit and the quality is awesome. The only thing that i was not happy with were the radio triggers they were a bit cheap and nasty but the flashes are awesome.

I think it is sensible to think about customer service very carefully especially if you are buying a rebranded item that nobody else sellsm
What are you going to do if they go out business or stop selling that model? Even if they are good I would rather deal with a firm that's been around for years and has a track record

I can only comment on the Lencarta SmartFlash.The SmartFlash is a new product, selling extremely well and although it isn't as highly specified as the ElitePro range I believe it's the best available for the money. There's a full review of it coming out in a leading mag soon. More details on that when I know more. Lencarta is far from new, having traded for about 11 years now.

Buying studio equipment can be a bit of a nightmare, the specs can sometimes be confusing, the terminology isn't always easy to understand and learning how to use it can be a sharp learning curve, which makes customer support important. As you may or may not know, I provide the customer support for Lencarta.

As you're living in Dublin you probably won't want to come to my own studio to try it out, but like all Lencarta products you can buy it, try it and send it back for refund within 30 days if you don't like it, which makes buying pretty safe.
