Never heard of them but their pricing of the Pentax Optio WG-3 is quite keen whilst their SDHC memory pricing seems a bit wayward and inconsistent.

Just bought a WG-1 from Camera Centre through Amazon for £139.99 and would have gone for the WG-3 had my searches revealed this supplier. This was an additional camera to 4 previously sourced models. They are all now in Borneo on a 1 month student expedition and social project.

Would be interested in hearing from others experiences too.

I seen they have the RX100 for a not too bad price and you can get a £10 code when signing up to their newsletter, but ProCameraShop is £30 more and in the UK....

Two things would make me run a mile, there's no physical address for them anywhere on the site that I can see. They claim to be a UK based company but the phone number appears to be Egyptian??

They are just another Hong Kong grey trader.

Their office hours is the biggest pointer:

It made me laugh, I still haven't figured out how you fit a warehouse inside a post office box, it must be the first Warehouse Tardis in existence :D

I'm still not sure myself. Part of me thinks pay with paypal as the take it, plus the good reivews on the review center, and the other part thinks of me thinks, leave it. Someone on here would have used them and tell me their experience.

There seems to be some good prices like the 70-200 f 4 is for £735 and you get a 24 month warranty with most products.
Was reading in the talkequipment and found someone who has ordered from them recently and they have high praise especially for delivery time.

Found this line interesting when browsing the website.

We ship our products promptly without any hidden charges and no surprise shipping cost.

They seem to have been selling to Australia for a couple of years, quick delivery seems to be the norm from reviews but some reviews also saying they claim to be Australian but ship from HK.

To keep it accurate, you get no UK warranty, if a fault occurs you will probably be expected to freight the item back to Hong Kong (and hope the retailer is still in business and deals with the return on your behalf in Hong Kong).

1For waterproof cameras, we only offer the standard 12-months warranty.
The warranty period starts from the invoice date, and hence includes the shipping and return shipping time as well as the repair duration.
For more details, please refer to the following terms and conditions of our warranty policy.

Terms and conditions
The warranty
Upon receiving and accepting your payment, we will provide you with cover for your purchase(s) as stated in this warranty.

The eGlobaL warranty, once paid for, warrants the product to operate according to manufacturer's specifications for the period as stated above from the date of invoice.
Please note that all our products are imported goods and will not come with manufacturer's warranty but instead we will cover the warranty through our own company.

That is, as you say, if they are still in business.
Can't find who coughs up return should there be a fault.

Considering the puchaser agrees to be governed by the laws of Hong Kong it's pretty immaterial if they fob you off, or worse when you post it back they refuse to repair it, there is very little you can do.

It's probably better to just take the stance of no warranty when buying from a small HK trader.

I saw Mack warranties mentioned on their site, they are reliable and you get your gear fixed locally. Downside is they are extended warranties and only kick in after the first year.
