I transferred some files off my mums PC onto memory card, they were showing as on the card there. Bought them back to mine and my PC won't recognise they are there. Says the 2gb card is full but will only show me 3 small jpg files not all the rest. How do I find these images? I'm hoping if I put the memory card into my mums pc next time I visit they'll show up but is there anyway of getting my computer to recognise the files here? Theres a pic on there I really wanted to show off to everyone and I'll be rather upset if Ive lost the lot.

Thanks!!

did you eject the diss safely or just pull out the cable? Sometimes that can send them a bit funny.

Data recovery software might help too

Pulled the disk out of the card. Do you know of any good software to try? thanks.

if you didn't eject the disk safely which it sounds like you didn't you may have better luck trying it on the computer it last worked on.

Otherwise data recovery software - I know you get some free when you buy a sandisk extreme iii card but apart from that it's something i've never had to use yet, google will be your friend on this one.

Thanks, lesson learnt me thinks! The photo can be re-shot its just sooo frustrating :bang: oh well, not worth getting stressed over. Really appreciate your time, thank you again.

This happened to me once & instead of using the card reader I plugged the camera directly into the computer & they transferred fine that way. If you can view the images through your cameras preview function then this should hopefully work

I have a spare copy of Sandisk Rescue Pro. PM me your address and I'll post it to you. It is unused and has the activation code.

Meanwhile do not write any data to the card in question as this will overwrite any data already on the card!

cheers

ps, my good deed for the day! :D

You could try PCinspector (free from the web) I have used this on more than 1 card and had success
