I have a Nikon D3200, I lost my CD to upload program to transfer pictures onto my PC, so I bought a card reader to transfer. Now I'm looking for a very simple and user friendly to edit photos. Any ideas. Thanks
 
I need help, I downloaded the above program, NX Studio, so when I plug in my camera, will they automatically upload?
 
@Loveak please stop opening what seem to be effectively duplicate threads across the forum.

As for your downloading issue, it is likely that if your camera is recognised by windows or OSX then it will offer to download your pictures. As a better alternative you could remove the memory card from the camera, pop it in a reader, then move the pictures yourself, carefully creating and naming a folder structure so you can find your pictures later.

Answered on your previous thread, but would add Photo Plus Pro to the free ones.

So far as I can see you have not answered the questions regarding RAW or JPEG or what PC you are using (Apple, Windows, Linux....)

Are you able to merge all of their threads and put them in the appropriate section?

There are just 2 threads now AFAICS, and to merge them would be confusing, so I think it best to let them run. Hopefully @Loveak has the answer they require to move forward.

NX Studio comes with another app called Nikon Transfer 2 which will transfer your images from your memory card. You can tell it where to save the images, give the folder a name, etc..

I have been using it since my first Nikon DSLR way back in 2008 (they have improved it a bit in that time :D ) It should do everything you need, including automatically making a second copy on another hard drive for you.
