Editing raw in pse 11

ok got my first full dslr having upgraded from a bridge camera and now ready to shoot raw for the first time. Has anyone used pse11 for editing as shown here and how did they get on

I was thinking it would be a good intro for me before splashing the cash on something just for editing raw before use pse11 or Nik for further editing

PSE does an excellent job. No problems there!

Photoshop elements is the 'slimmed' down version of photoshop, while it lacks some of the options of the full version it's very good.

Hi, PSE 11 although a cut down version of Photoshop is still an excellent bit of software. It should handle your RAW files without problem.

It's also worth considering converting your files to DNG which reduces the size of the files slightly without any loss in quality. Saving you space on whatever you store your images on, their also supposed to be future proof.

I'd strongly recomend you keep the original raw as well.
