What editing programs do you use,

I use

Sony Vega's 9.0 for video editing

Photoshop CS4 for photographs etc.

CS4 and lightroom for stills, can't remember what we use for video (I don't touch that) but it's whatever they used for King Kong I'm told, it was b****y expensive, that I do know. Wayne
 
I use Lightroom 2 and Photoshop CS3. Can't be bothered to buy CS4 as it doesn't seem much better than CS3.

Yeah? it could be, sounds familar, I know it was the wrong software, not compatable with our video camera (something to do with the soundtrack) we had to convert our video to something else first before we could edit it, got a new camera now so problem solved. Wayne
 
FCPro(FCS) is the industry standard video editor. Whether £800 is considered expensive though, I wouldn't like to say.
 
I use Photoshop and Premier. I'd like to try Vegas as I've heard very good things about it but finding the time to use a new program is hard, especially now that I'm so used to using Photoshop & Premier together.

If I ever go the mac route I'll be getting Final Cut, I used it at college, very nice software!

Avid and Edius are very good too, Avid is pretty much at the top of the tree.

I thought it was because we do hardly any video, we only do bits to put in the slideshow mostly, plus maybe one full wedding video a year.
 
I use Lightroom and iMovie for video.
