Editing out glass in photoshop

Hi all

I'm relatively new to using photoshop and i have a personal project I'm trying to work on. So my basic question is as follows.

Is it possible to edit out the glass from around a glass of water. For example in the picture below would it be possible to have just the Water sitting in the shape of the glass without the glass surrounding it.

Hi, Yes, but as I see it you would be better taking the water against a white background unless of course you want the colour there. To remove the glass and leave the water you I think need to be using layers and selections in P/S a little tricky and time consuming.

maybe an easier solution with there software.
