Edit post option has disappeared

Is there a limit to the number of times you can edit a post and/or the thread title?

My option to edit in the first post has disappeared so my Photo 52 thread still says Week 25. I do, however, have the option to edit later posts in the thread.

I've had a few, but I concur...site maintenance??
 
defo gone... weird...there one minute...maybe its after the first post gets 6 months old?? we are half way through the 52.?
 
My first post in my 52 was on 16th Jan as I joined late, so if it was a 6 month thing I'd be ok for a couple more weeks. I hope Andy's right and it's just a site maintenance thing.
 
Ok, the reason the edit option has gone is because the site software only allows posts under 6 months old to be edited. There is no way round this sorry! It was a massive task to edit the first few posts of my 365 (the index) near the end, it had to be done manually.

Moderators can still edit them though! If you want something changing then let us know.

UH OH!!!.. you're right... i was being rational... and logical???? .... and ... that meant.. i was being ...n-n-n-normal... i'd better get out and take my july 2nd photo... NO!!!... thats just what you'd expect me to do.. go with my boxes... i've got just the idea... yeah :thumbs: its carnival day!!
