I seem to have an odd issue when taking an image to Photoshop CC from Lightroom Classic. When I go through "Edit in" to Photoshop, the image opens, but all of the menu items are greyed out and I can't use content aware, the adaptive wide angle filter etc. However, if I close Photoshop then try and open the image in Photoshop again (from the original DNG) all the menu items become usable on the second attempt. Has anyone else experienced this and found a solution to the problem? TIA.

Just make sure PS is open before sending the image over from LR

Thanks, that's saved me some time - I was wondering what I was doing wrong and hadn't had chance to try and find out! :)
 
This has annoyed me for months!! I'd gotten into the habit of just doing 'Show in Explorer/Open in PS"

Once I unlearn that, this will be a great time saver :)
