Sensor turns out to be damaged - sellers say it wasnt when it left him (likewise other faults)

Camera turns out to be stolen - but you dont find that out till you try to have it serviced

Camera turns out to be a fake

Seller takes your money and doesnt bother sending anything

Got scam written all over it.
 
Don't do it.
Look at the last 2 pictures...the boxes are different. He's nicked the images of the net

just to add - sellers with low feedback only actually get their money when you've left them good feedback :)
that is why I think the scammiest option would be for the seller to say - but I have sent the item blah , blah , blah . other than that - don't know what else.
 
I agree looks dodgy and not a good idea to try and sell something with high value without any FB. Would not touch with etc...

BUT does paypal not cover you if it is a scam, not delivered/not as described.

i think it's for the option that you've sold your something, sent it to confirmed addy and the buyer says it's not there etc.

this case - as I said before - only if he starts a claim that the sent the item but didn't get a good feedback to release the funds. mind you - when you do purchase the item , your money is with paypal , so they are the lot to decide what to do with it.
 
It seems strange to only be offering a "buy it now" and no auction for this type of item.
I would only bother buying very rare items overseas - not a 7D!
Also seems strange to start selling high ticket items on a brand new account.
 
Pity it wasn't listed a couple of weeks back as I was in near that town.

It for sure is a scam as its been said it has to different kit boxes.

Paypal would cover you but a hazzle to get the money back.
 
heh ! that would've been fun ! :D to come and have a look. what could be the excuse ? or rather if not - I would still not come - who knows what's waiting there for you.
