Yes
I'm not a huge eBay seller but a current item I have has 29 watchers. Normally if I get up as high as double figures I'm doing well !

Just wondered what maximum no of watchers other TP's had previously

Willy waving time :)
Currently have 2 objects for sale on E-bay and watchers on each is just over 180/240 (sorry!), mind, that is the highest number I have ever had.

That's OK was just being curious. I expect someone will be along shortly to make us both feel insecure about our watchers [emoji3]

Total at the moment is 0

Gave up on ebay years ago , all in favor of the buyers , sellers are persecuted

I can't remember the last time I bid on an eBay item. These days I just buy things, using it as an eShop for things that are cheaper than the likes of amazon or can't find elsewhere. I do sometimes watch items I'm interested in and might buy in the future (a bit like an Amazon wish list).

I do quiet a bit of selling on there 1600+ positive feedback and you can have loads of watchers on a item and it won’t sell , relist
it and wham someone immediatelaty presses buy it now , there’s no reason to it , with all those sales I have only ever had two bad buyers . At the moment it’s a buying frenzy especially for camera related gear with lots of stuff going for higher than expected prices ,especially legacy lenses

Maybe I should have a clear out of my pre EOS Canon mount lenses?

Gumtree and Facebook marketplace is where it’s at now. Actually meeting someone, inspecting the item and walking away knowing you’re not gonna have a claim against the sale/purchase.

I guess it depends on where you are and the item you are selling. If you live in a major city then potentially you will have a larger market. For smaller items I'm still happy to use eBay as I don't want to be waiting in for potential buyers, time wasters etc

For photographic gear I'm more than happy to use the forum. My last purchase on here went very smoothly

I enjoy buying (at auctions, car boots etc) and subsequently selling, what might be classified as 'antique collectable' items and find eBay the ideal medium to sell the stuff as more than half of it will be sent abroad.

If I’m selling an Ikea bookcase then Facebook works well and I’ve met some nice people that way. I’ve sold one or two things on gumtree too.

I think eBay still continues to reach more people overall though and in over 14 years of buying and selling on the site myself (900 fb) I’ve only very rarely had a problem and will certainly continue to use it for the foreseeable future.
