Never had any problems with miss fires with the RF-602's. PT-04's, CRT-301's and other really cheap triggers are another story. Miss fires and range are huge problems with the cheaper ones as they use a super cheap 433 Mhz chip and bad programming/error correction/other cheap components. I had one issue where I got about 1 foot range due to using rechargeable batteries, this was because the circuit needed 1.5v where as rechargeable batteries supply 1.2v

The RF-602's use FSK 2.4Ghz this frequency has tighter standards thus devices on this frequency tend to have much better R&D behind them. Thus they work 1000x better. The long and short of it is I can only recommend the RF-602's or pocket wizards. Iv used all 3 and the likes of the pt-04's fall far to short for me. The extra few quid for the rf-602's well worth it IMHO.

If you are in to radio/electronics check out this site for info on FSK 2.4Ghz modules here

thanks alistair thats a big help.im not to technical with computers and hardware but you explained it well slave and 602's is is then, cheers duncan:thumbs::wave:
