Yes
When you win a bid on ebay and the seller does not obey to their ad with regards to postage how can we as a buyer take action?

I've won a Sigma 70-300mm Lens Yesterday and the seller said he would post today with postage being £7.00.

He is now not sending it out until Monday which is when the Lens should have arrived...Can I claim the Postage back or is that being too cheeky?

I don't know the rules but I doubt it would be worth the hassle unless there is some burning reason why you had to have it on Monday.

Send the seller an message and you may be able to work it out.

Check the listing carefully, it often states 'will ship within x days of payment recieved' if it's within stated time, nothing you can do!

Maybe he just could not make it to the post office today for whatever reason
If he does not post monday then I would have something to complain about.

For a day or 2 late in posting,no you wont get anywhere.

Take a closer look - Will usually dispatch within x working days of receiving cleared payment...

Sometimes I say Ill post it on xxxday, but for whatever reason I cant sometimes do it. Ill email the buyer and explain and apoligise, but all my listings state postage within 5 days, and I always post within 5 days. You wont get any compensation and nor should you if he posts it within the stated time on the auction, whatever he may have said.

What time of day did the auction end and when did you pay him? (presuming paypal)

The post office is only open until noon on a Saturday, so none of this sounds like anything to get worked up a bout. Life happens, and sometimes you just can't manage to make it to the post office in time.
