Just had this very problem this week. Not the first time either.
You have to wait until 10 days has elapsed with non payment.
After this time you can open a dispute with the buyer.
If after another 10 days the buyer still has not paid, you close the dispute and your fees get automatically refunded.

You have to file a non-paying bid and you will be credited the listing fee. There is a minimum time before you can claim though, see the help section on Ebay

I have sold a good and the seller has asked me to post it to nigeria, with an excessive amount of postage on top which i do not feel comfortable to do.
Is there any way to get my money back quicker the listing and final selling fee?

I've had a few of these. Just another scam. You will probably find by tomorrow that their account has been suspending, any money paid will disappear and you won't get charged the listing fees. However, you will have to re list from scratch.

change your ebay selling settings to block anyone outside of uk
if this user has a uk account - block the account, see if you can sell to next highest bidder if bid was close if not re-list straight away - don't wait for ebay to sort it out (all the people watching the original auction will know you have re listed and you may get a better price) - the process takes a few weeks - you will still get your money - you just have to wait...
