ebay foldable softbox?

Has anyone bought this? Wondering how good is it?

ive got one... pretty tough, the diffusion material is quite cheap, but the rest if fine.. very impressed with the tripod mount thing.. pretty good quality..

only thing is that the soft box itself just hangs over the mounting ring. planning on adapting it slightly but there really isn't any need

Can you tell me how big is the ring adapter? (outer diameter?)

Has got one too. Over time (less than 10 use) the wire frame starts to giving up. It is still usable, but no a square frame anymore.

Ahh that really sucks, was thinking of getting one. Mainly for the ability to fold so small

Not found any casts with mine. Is there any colour tinge to the diffusion panels?

Yep. All other soft-boxes that I own are much more neutral. Probably something that fluoresces in the diffusers.

But I'm not complaining too much, they were cheap enough. I use them on a Quadra with an eli speedring for a very fast and light kit.

Thats the exactly what I planned to use the box with. How do you find the mount fitting? Does it fit nicely and tight or wobble a lot?

Perfectly.

I use a quadra adapter and then an eli speedring from an old Prolinca softbox, the old white one, and it slides under the rear flaps just fine.
