Ebay fees raised again

Ebay is a mere shadow of it's former self. Did anyone else notice earlier in the year they changed their own banner from the UK's biggest online marketplace to One of the Uk's....

Maybe over the next couple of years thy'll change it again to.

Isn't that listing fees rather than final value? If I'm wrong I'm going to be a happy bunny!

I'm fairly sure it's....

"40% for winning an eBay auction or Buy It Now item. This amount is based on eBay revenue - not on the price you pay"

Therefore it also includes the listing fee!

Good point...but it is still about the only place to sell 2nd user stuff of pretty much any description...

It does seem a stupid move but IMO all it will do is encourage more 'off ebay' sales.

They dont care cos they own
Paypal and we know how much of a rip that can be.

I wonder how easy or hard it is to set up an internet auction site .

If you don't know this...

I could make a fortune on fees of 5% .

You probably can't do this

Gumtree isn't to bad, I know it's not an auction site but I've had a few bargains from private sellers.
