If you eat in the restaurant between 8th Nov and 4th Dec you will be given a voucher with your receipt attached.

Take this voucher to the till when you buy something from the main store between 6th Dec and the 24th dec and they will knock the full value of the food of your bill.

As the voucher says - all the furniture you can eat.

You can only use one voucher at a time, so you can't eat out for a month and then buy a new kitchen, but a family meal out this month could mean nice discount on a new couch/table/set of cutlery.

Hate IKEA.:p:thumbsdown::lol:

I hate IKEA too but have to visit soon to get a load of bookcases and the like. Want to look at their frames and some other stuff while I'm there as well. Since it's an hour or more's drive, I expect we'll be eating there too, so will probably take advantage of the free eats offer.

Bu99er! Just reread the OP and seen that you get the voucher up until the 4th Dec but can only use it from the 6th onwards. NOT going to go twice if I can help it!

I would not drive 5 mins to get there.:p:D

Hardly free then is it? If their food is like their furniture, then I reckon the furniture would taste better than the food

Swedish meatballs and chips are bloomin yummy at Ikea.

They sell Muslin curtains that make great backdrops too, Mr Cowasaki pointed me to that.

I don't know whats with Ikea myself, it's a great place to shelter when it's pouring down outside :D

The meatballs are possibly the ONLY reason to go to Ikea!:D To have to go twice within weeks though is a torture I simply could not take!

You could go today, and then visit again end of December, six weeks between visits....

ikea meatballs and hotdogs.... yum yum

I always come away from Ikea awash with the free coffee:D

The food is
The furniture is

Depends what you buy and what your budget is. Some of it is wood veneered and for budget furniture it's a much higher quality than the usual tat.

The lightbulbs are cheap, the frames are cheap and a good variation of size, the kitchen utensils, glasses etc are good.

It's not so bad if you know the short cuts through the place rather than the retailers preferred route past every product.

The best thing they do as got to be the hot dogs:)

Candles are very well-priced at Ikea but now I use a flash
