E-Cigarettes

You do need to make sure you use the right charger for the battery. Had a guy in ukvapers nearly burn his house down by using the wrong one.

An almost panic at no battteries working!!..

Went to change over battery and it didn't work.. thought it was the evod clearo at first because i have just put fresh juice in 2 but both didn't work, tried other battery nothing..

plugged both in to charger (seperate times ofcourse)and no charging light on either:(.... run upstairs as my son has an ego battery too and put his clearo on my battery and one fired to life, that seems to be charging now but my other one seems dead:'(

The iclear30 wouldn't kill my ego bats would it???

just hoping the other one does actually charge or i am going to be without vaping:(

Are you sure its not just a connection issue? The centre pins on eGo batteries (and on mods for that matter) can get pushed down by over-tightening atties. Try lifting the centre pin slightly, using a needle or similar.

Makes sure its switched off though. Otherwise you'll short it out.

Oh the charger is right, it's the one that came with my ego kit. i just wondered if the clearo was too big/much for a basically tiny battery... or if it was just bad luck.. they are both ego c batteries.. or ego ce5 i think.. so far it looks like one is still charging so i won't be completely without anything

Actually yes looking at that bit earlier compared to my son's they do look almost flat.. i'll find something and see if i can lift it

i was just looking at the provari mini, seeing as they still looked relatively girly with the colours..... way out of my price range tho so maybe i will be sticking with my original thoughts

There's often a couple of used ones on the UKV classifieds. They are expensive compared to cheapo mods, but so are Ferraris, compared to Fiats.

Sadly i have champagne tastes on a lemonade budget:D... i shall keep an eye out on there tho, but realistically i will have to go for something cheaper

I have just come across THIS site for recipe`s and thought I would share, some may have seen it before.

Someone just pm'd me on ukv offering me an itaste vv v3 for £25 says it's only been used 3 times... someone else in the thread said fastech are doing them for £25 new but apparently they are cheap chinese copies according to Innokin website?...help!

Personally would always buy new from a known source as a load of copies about.

But that's what this guy is saying... that fast tech ones are cheap copies and it's on Inokens website...

this is the link to his itaste he's offering me..

and this is the link he sent about fast tech ones

http://www.innokin.com/news/company/2013/0606/395.html

obviously buying new is great but if what the guy has is genuine and fast techs aren't then i prefer to go with his especially as i'll get it this week.. my main concern and i did tell him i was looking into it which he said he'd do the same etc is getting conned along the way when my budget is so tight

The only thing I can think of are:

Acidic flavour reacting with clearo?
Old/burnt wick?
Dirty clearo (mold)?

Only thing I'm sure of is don't vape it.

the only thing me and the OH can think of is that one or more of the ingredients in the liquid caused a reaction which made the atty overheat which then caramelized the sugars in the liquid, obviously there is quite a lot of sugar/glycerine type stuff in juices.

On a side note the OH may be selling his lavatube mini soon (i say may because it depends how he gets on with the new mod he has on its way here)

If you're looking for something big enough for an 18mm tank (I think iclear 30 is about that size), yet reasonably compact, how about a mech mod with a kick.

A mech mod has no VV/VW circuitry and no overload protection, but the kick module would give you basic power control and stop you damaging the battery when it runs down. There are loads of cheap telescopic mech mods around these days that are as wide as a vamo, but much shorter, even with an 18650 battery.

IME most "cheap Chinese copies" are every bit as good as the slightly more expensive Chinese "originals". I'm most cases they're coming out of the same factory. My eVic, though not from china, is technically at least a "grey" according to joytech. It works perfectly, including the online serial number registration.

Either way, you've got no real consumer protection, so the "new" one has no greater value.

To be honest things like the vamo and svd are more reasonably priced and i do like the bigger tank, but for now i think i will go for the itaste, keep it simple, i can always change at a later date if i really feel the need, as long as my bat lasts for fast tech's wonderful delivery lol

its private we can't see it!

It's the Svoemesto Semovar v3 in 18500 mode, with the Kayfun 3.1 ES.

I've got a matching leather holster for it, for that extra-gay look! :-/

Giggle!!...:D that actually looks rather nice, very sleek.

Looks like a powered down light sabre!

We need a little gallery to show kits off.... gives some of us idea on what they look like and size etc:D

Very nice John  Did I see somewhere you had a KFL also? If so how do you compare between the two of them?

No I don't have a KFL, although its on my list. A lot of the parts are interchangeable and I have a few spares for the 3.1. I'll get to see and try a KFL at the meet up on Saturday, so I'll report back next week.

The support from Svoemesto is brilliant. After fixing my blown control board for free, they've come up with 2 redesigned parts to reduce the risk of leaks getting into the semovar. They're giving them away to all owners. Can't wait to get mine because the hybrid connector takes a good 1cm off the overall length of the combo and looks almost completely seamless.

I have been hunting about and want some new flavour concentrates and have found flavour art. Has anyone here tried them? They seem to get good right ups.

I have two full 30ml 18mg bottles of dark vapure sitting doing nothing which I'm sure are flavour art you can have to try if you wish?

Right then, Evod thingie ordered and a couple of juices to try. Haven't a clue what to try so ordered a cigar type one as I'm a cigar smoker.

Can't wait to give it a blast. I guess when I get it there'll be lots of questions about what, how, why and what's this for :)

Good luck and keep us updated... These guys are ace... I just sit aimlessly in the corner and come out when I have a meltdown over something

Serious question!

How orally satisfying are these machines? I mean more tastewise than filling one's gob! I (unfortunately) have a sweet tooth and to satisfy this, I have rotten and false teeth as well as a weight problem. Would a sweet flavoured juice in a vape form satisfy the craving? I'm not interested in any nicotine juices - kicked that into touch about 20 years ago.
