Vivi/Mini novas are top coils and don't wick well - bottom coils are the way to go IMO
If you put the liquid in and let them sit for a couple of minutes, they're fine. High VG liquids would have wicked well within 2 minutes at most but they just don't last very long at all.
The Kanger mt3 isn't a bad choice on an ego battery my step son uses one. Heads are replaceable at about 2.50 a piece. Can't say how long a head would last you depends on how much juice you put through it. My Wife gets about a fortnight out of hers I used to get about a week before it whimps out. I generally put about 40-50ml a week through mine. Don't go for 100% VG it's far to thick to wick properly in most things and you end up with nasty burnt tastes. VG doesn't take flavour as well as PG either. I used to use heavy VG mixes but I tend to go for more 70%pg 30%vg now as they wick a lot better. The vapour isn't as thick and chewy but still acceptable. Evod's have a good rep maybe you had copy ones not genuine Kanger?? There are a lot of copies about. In my experience Kanger stuff is usually spot on - they have definitely nailed bottom coil devices.

If you have a crystal clear vapours shop anwhere around your neck of the woods I can highly recommend their juices - they have just started producing their own juices in their UK lab and not expensive.
I definitely wasn't using any copies and the shop I go to by me does produce their own liquids. The vast majority of what they now sell is liquids produced by them. I've been vaping for 37 weeks and a higher percentage of VG does it for me. The shop closer to me than the one I go to does a higher PG percentage and I just don't like them at all. High VG has worked for 37 weeks, does everything I want and/or need so I'll probably stick to that. High VG ratios produce more vapour and the right amount of throat hit for me. They've got masses more taste than the high PG ones from the other shop and the taste lasts a lot longer.
The shop with high VG liquids make their own. The shop with high PG liquids import theres from wholesale and have a vast last of ones from companies I've seen on the sites. I just don't like high PG at all
Are you a member on the UK Vapours forum? Good place for advice, reviews etc.

I wanna try the Liquorice  It`s like being a kid in a candy shop
My first 10ml samples have now been madeOne of those was a Butter Popcorn. Bloody hard not to try them before they steep a bit though
I might have to get one of those little battery whisks for the next batch, as it is supposed to speed the ageing process right up

I think Keith hit the nail on the head when he said the darker the juice, the longer it needs. My custard starts a rich amber and needs 3 weeks minimum (and is even better after a month). Cola starts off light yellow and is good to go in 48 hours. I also go by the cloudiness, with clearer juices). When its cloudy, it needs more steeping.
What volt/wattage are you at? What's the resistance of the coil?
I'd try taking the top loose wick off, I usually do that with similar type coils. Like the evods. Or, get yourself a roll of wire and some wick and build your own coils. In the long run you save. And DIY coils, once you get them right, are almost always better than factory build.

Right thern the bunt tast - yik.
I bought this a while back and am currently getting a burnt taste.
I've tried rinsing the clear bit out, but it returns after about a tank. Do I need to replace the whole tank, or can I just replace a part of it? Will it take apart, or do I just need to buy new tanks.
If so, the same or are there better ones,
Thanks![]()

I'd get a few spares
Pmsl once you take the body off where you fill then that little bit un screws from the base bit!...
Reading up on here it looks like most change theirs frequently, mine seem to last awhile and I'm washing them a bit more and that seems better too

I didn't think it was all going to be so complicated![]()
Not sure I'd haver bothered if I knew I'd have to wash them tooCan't I just run it through the dish wash

If its tasting burnt, get some higher resistance coils (£8-10 for 5 in the UK). The higher the restistance, the lower the temp (given a fixed voltage). You'll get less vapour but a cleaner taste.
Also, don't over tighten the base onto the body. It compresses the silica collar, round the top of the coil unit, and restricts the juice flow to the wick. This adds to the burnt taste, as the wick isn't wet enough.

Spent a couple of hours lay night mixing and steeping a coupe of new juices. Red Apple, ice menthol and my cherry butterscotch mix. Steeped them using the hot water method for about 2 or 3 hours and all are vaping well. I have to say I think the ice menthol will be my everyday vape for a while.
I am having trouble with my victory evod tank. I just can't get it to be juice tight, is Ok for 5 mins then dumps the tank through the bottom, but when it was vaping it gives s lovely flavour. I am also telly enjoying my nova tank, loafs of vap and flavour and also seems to be economical on the juice front, give hours infont of tv last night and a3 hour drive this morning and only used about a quarter of a tank.
Yv pleased you have joined us. It's a slippery slip your on now.

He end up having to reduce it down to about 500ml in the end Guess who is sitting here happily vaping some Butterscotch
