E-Cigarettes

Not sure what you mean by the "full" kit Dini  is this not what you are after? http://www.vapeescape.co.uk/Vaping-Spares/Batteries--Passthroughs/ITaste-Mini-VV/VW-V3.Html

The full kit comes with 5 Clearomizers. Here is an example
http://www.innokin.com/itaste-vv-express-kit.html

I found these guys who have it in stock but at £55 pounds i think its too expensive.
http://www.switch2-ecigs.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=KITITASTEV3CLEAR10s&CartID=1

Maybe it is cheaper to just buy the kit with the battery with one clearomizer and add additional one later.

Well after charging up the Vamo again and fitting on the protank 2, I was again seeing a small problem. To get the air to draw and the vamo to vape nicely the tank had to be screwed down just so, in other words not too tight. This left the thread of the tank with so much slack that it was moving from side to side. This is what I think caused the original thread to strip inside the first vamo, speaking again to Ash from Myepack I siad in all honesty there is either a design fault or the the internal thread of the vamo and the thread of the protank are not being manufactured to the same tolerance  Other than this the vamo works really well with the Evod clearomisers on.

He is now sending me an ISD SVD and a KSD KMAX to try out. Not sure if anybody has any experience or heard good reports about either? There is a link for a review of the iTaste on their site, but I must admit I was not that impressed with the function of the buttons. Oh well will have to suck it and see as usual :D

I've got the SVD and really like it. It is very long in 18650 mode though. I've not used a vamo for more than a couple of puffs so couldn't do a fair comparison. The reasons I went for the SVD over the vamo were that there was nowhere to buy the v4 and I had heard of vamos having problems with the threading, although not after such a short time.
I also got an innokin mvp2 this week. Not as a replacement for the svd, just as a more pocketable device. However I like it so much I haven't used the svd since it arrived. It has voltage/ wattage limitations but none that effect me.

if you are not in a rush for it then fasttech are worth a look. Deliveries take a while although my last delivery only took 10 days. The prices can sometimes make the wait bearable.

Allow 3 weeks+ from 'Fast'ech. You have been warned.

Of the three deliveries I have had from them 2 took 15 days and one took 10. In saying that I wouldn't order from them without being prepared to wait a month.

SVD's are very popular at the moment and well worth a punt. However, if you don't mind a box, the MVP2 is the one I'd buy. Great interface, lasts days and you can even charge your phone from it, in an emergency.

BTW - Nod is still in shock that his message asking 'what ciggies do you want?' on his holiday dutyfree allowance, was responded to with 'None thanks, I am joining the vaping brigade!' :D

:bang: FFS! Two supposedly intelligent world travellers exchange messages but avoid the reality that "A woman is only a woman but a good cigar is a smoke!" :bang:

My new Vivi Nova V10 tank arrived today, in a nice package and with 2 spare atty's aswell. So far so good. It connects to my ego using the outside thread which looks nice and solves the problem of my broken internal thread.

Just found the alchemists cupboard, 5 samples ordered so the hunt is on for a new all day vape :)

Rhubarb crumble sounds awesome :) :)

I am this minute vaping on a Royalberry sample. Very nice, in saying that I have tried about three different liquids containing fruits and I think they are really pleasant to vape, when I do my own I think I will also add a touch of menthol or mint as I think it compliments fruit flavours. Christ I am now turning into a bloody chef

Well i've just ordered the sample pack from the link Rich put up a few posts back, lots of flavours too try, plus waiting for Emporium thingy to send me an invoice as they are kindly sending me some stuff too!..

Yv? Yv? welll........ did they turn up? are you finally vaping yet:D

That`s good T  I have just made my first mix of Black Jack flavour :D As to wether or not Yv is vaping, I don`t thinks so, just blowing hot air again as always :suspect::suspect:

I forgot to mention I did not expect to have another parcel to sign for today, but as promised by Ash I had the KMAX and the SVD in front of me. A couple of tank & battery swaps it did not take me long to decide. Imho the SVD looked more like one unit when in extended mode. After watching a video on both prior to recieving them, I was at home straight away with the functions of the buttons on the SVD, the menue on the KMAX seemed like gobbledygook.Touch wood I am sorted now so a big thank you once again to Ash and MyePack for giving this customer 200% service

Black Jack sounds good! It's coming up to the end of my "financial month" haha so just vaping what I've got left.. all I had left was a full bottle of choc mint, ugh. Swapped my husband for half a bottle of swedish fish and half a bottle of strawberry, two of my favourites :D Haven't had sherbet in a long time so think I'll pick up a bottle tomorrow.

Where do you get your sherbert one from Toni? Does it do ok in non glass misers or don`t it stay in there long enough to damage them?:lol: The Black Jack is my first mix, I only done 10ml for starters, not sure if I had the percentage of flavour too low, will have to wait and see.

I quite like the look of the svd very shiny gadgety stuff, but i think i'd either get confused or in reality be abit to big.. i think the itaste vv3 thing is the way i go..

As for juice, black jack does sound nice, they used to be one of my favorite sweets years ago, although still partial..:D

I ordered swedish fish, sherbert and raspberry swirl and i think thwy said they had a sweet vanilla that was popular. i debated choc mint just out of curiosity(maybe next order). plus the 11 samples on order :D

i still don't know about making my own, plus as much as there are juices i like i get bored so easily, saying that i do need to re order wham and refresher in slightly higher nic level

And now i am doing what i do best.... rambling:lol::lol::lol:

I've only ever used glass Rich! I get it from Emporium Vapour. It's a local shop but they have a facebook page and are sending some out to T :)

Yeah they are and very friendly to boot!:D

what misers do you use Toni...?

(Misers sounds like miserable old gits) lol

For the mixers with a sweet tooth, Capella Strawberry & Cream concentrate is lovely. I mixed it at 15% with 3 drops of EM per 5ml. It's like Vaping a strawberry Mivi.

The iTaste v3 looks just right for girls :D There are a few flavors that I would like to try but tbh I like a low nic content. Even those samples were making my head buzz. There is an interesting thread HERE

Thanks I will check them out. I have the protank which is pyrex and I also have two of the iClear Dual Coil ones. Now if I could get something like those but in glass it would be great.
Haha I just use bog standard ones, like these http://www.dfwvapor.com/media/catal...b33525d08d6e5fb8d27136e95/e/g/egovision_2.jpg

I go through a few of them but they're the only ones I've found that I like.

Ah right, you can easily recoil and wick those which will save few a few pounds over a short space of time

I wonder if Yv is firing on all four cylinders yet?:lol: And no, I am not going to mention anything about Gorilla`s in the mist :nono: :suspect:

Oi, I have the iTaste, and far from a girl mister! >:O

I'm manly enough to pull it off though ;) I don't need a large device to compensate for anything, lol

Rich i think i need to read that again, i got confused... i was on 24mg i used to smoke 20 a day, it was only when i tried my son's apple flavour and didn't realise it was only 8mg but it was fine.. in all honesty i wonder if it is because it was fruity and strong, so now i am on around 12mg... i got the wham and refresher in 8, loads of vape which i love but no TH at all... if anything it felt like no nic content. i don't need a huge TH anymore, but i do need a little i guess

How do you feel about menthols? Most of those feel stronger than they are. A 12mg menthol usually has a nice TH

I don't really notice any difference in any of them. I quit with 18 and, after a few months, went up to 24 (no idea why!) and am now back down to 18. I was going to work my way down to stopping but I think I'll be giving stopping a go once this swedish fish is done.. which is about 1ml away!

No, and I am NOT Happy!! :annoyed: The liquids did arrive today...except they didn't.... J was at home, as were TWO very noise sensitive Jack Russells, yet still our ninja trained postman managed to get a card through the door explaining the postage paid on the item was not enough and they needed more money - without disturbing the dogs. :bat:

So, sorting office Monday now :sulk:

Could have been worse Yvonne, you could have come home and found the Dogs sat in the corner vaping  I hope you get to like the flavor`s after all of this :D

If I decide to carry on, can I have some tank recommendations? I'm using the ego-t 1000mAh batteries and want to get a tank that will actual work for me.

I've been using these "disposable" types http://altsmoke.com/media/catalog/p...df78eab33525d08d6e5fb8d27136e95/t/2/t2_01.jpg but I'm getting through 6 or 7 a month.

I've tried the rebuildable mini nova ones and they don't do it for me. I've also tried the evod ones; they either leak everywhere, get super hot or lose the taste in the liquid really fast.

edit - sites in general would be good, too. For kit and liquids. I tend to prefer the thicker liquids, think someone said they were VG?

Menthol nah i think i like more sweet fruity ones, i have got a cool mint gum had half a tank and didn't bother, its 24mg so too strong now, i'm even unsure of juices that have mint in, unless they are totally different mixed i may try:thinking:

Vivi/Mini novas are top coils and don't wick well - bottom coils are the way to go IMO

The Kanger mt3 isn't a bad choice on an ego battery my step son uses one. Heads are replaceable at about 2.50 a piece. Can't say how long a head would last you depends on how much juice you put through it. My Wife gets about a fortnight out of hers I used to get about a week before it whimps out. I generally put about 40-50ml a week through mine. Don't go for 100% VG it's far to thick to wick properly in most things and you end up with nasty burnt tastes. VG doesn't take flavour as well as PG either. I used to use heavy VG mixes but I tend to go for more 70%pg 30%vg now as they wick a lot better. The vapour isn't as thick and chewy but still acceptable. Evod's have a good rep maybe you had copy ones not genuine Kanger?? There are a lot of copies about. In my experience Kanger stuff is usually spot on - they have definitely nailed bottom coil devices.

If you have a crystal clear vapours shop anwhere around your neck of the woods I can highly recommend their juices - they have just started producing their own juices in their UK lab and not expensive.

Are you a member on the UK Vapours forum? Good place for advice, reviews etc.

my wife started using one of the e cigs about a month ago she went from 40+ a day to zero overnight and hasn't had a proper cig since
for my wife thats an amazing achievement because she really was a heavy smoker

my only concern is about the vapor oils, sooner or later we are going to see a mass influx of cheap oil from the likes of the far east with no clue whats in em
hopefully there will be some proper regulation brought into effect soon i don't think it will stop dodgy imported stuff but at least if you get it from reputable outlets you may stand a chance of not doing yourself more harm than good

i have one myself but i still smoke but it has cut me down
i plan on weening myself of tobacco eventually i still can't get over my wife quitting instantly

There are no 'oils' in eliquid it seems to be a misconception that a lot of johnny come lately vendors seem to have. At the end of the day inhaling anything that your body isn't designed to take is worse than not inhaling anything but a damn sight safer than the 4000+ chemicals in a normal cigarette. As you say if you stick with reputable vendors, this doesn't necessarily mean uk vendors as most liquids and flavours are sourced from China anyway, you'll be fine. Hangsen, Janty and Dekang are the major Chinese players and have been producing quality liquids for years.

I too quit a 40+ a day habit overnight :)

Had a little happy accident tonight. Was sampling my strawberries & cream in a dripping atty. Absent-mindedly I dripped some cola in and the mix was really nice. Tastes like red bull on the inhale and vimto on the exhale. Very sweet, but very refreshing and not at all sickly.

Dripping atties are good like that. You can change flavours all day and the crossover between juices often makes interesting mixes.

Yep. Lots of very good juices and pretty much all hardware comes from China. I read somewhere that all the big name hardware (Joytech, Kanger, vision, innokin, janty smok etc) comes out of the same 2 or 3 factories in one Chinese province.

Ironically, the grey area (health wise) is the flavourings and a lot of that is Italian (developed for coffee syrups and gelato).

Well the Chinese invented e-cigs. It makes me smile when I hear sales assistants in many of the lately come shops and market stalls warning people away from Chinese liquids and rattling on about anti freeze. In most cases they are selling re bottled Chinese juices!!! Seriously though, and I have no affiliation, if you get chance to try Crystal Clears own juices don't hesitate. The flavours are excellent and well priced. Never went down the dripping route always seemed like to much faff. Carto's used to annoy the hell out of me too because I had to refill them that often. Generally stick to tank systems nowadays. The flavour isn't up to what a good dripper will produce but for all round convenience and ease I like them. Just got a mk1 Protank, because it was cheap lol, and that seems ok. Been using MT3's for a while and fancied a change - replacement heads are slightly cheaper too which is always a bonus!!

I was quite happy not being on a ecig forum, one forum ie here is enough for me but i think i may have to bite the bullet and join, just so i am more clued up on how things work and where to get stuff etc etc:D

Haha yeah i'm there now, had set up account ages ago but it confused me, i've just done my... I'm T and blah blah blah in the welcome bit... god i feel such a newbie again:lol::lol::lol:

I was on UKV for a bit, [well, still am, but rarely visit lately] but it can be a bit much. You just end up buying loads of crap you don't need to keep up with the jonses. There are some very elite forums out there too, like the Vape pit. I just talk vaping between here and a vaping section of a broad-range irish forum.
