Sounds like wick issues with the nova you have. I've rebuilt mine, and I burn the wick, and wire, before coiling. Seems to get rid of any synthetic taste.

I actually prefer the iClear 16 to any of them atm. They work so well. Dual coil, so nice warm vape and good TH on any battery. From a simple ego C 650 to a Vamo at 10 watts. No issues, I have 3 of them all running daily with different juices.

Is the vamo battery huge? i have the egoC 900, i think i'd like a variable but i don't want to be out and about with some mega huge thing lol
 
You'd be much better off to get an iTaste VV 3

I got one just recently, and barely used my Vamo since.

It's both VV and VW and works great, I love it. It's also a pass-through device, so you can charge it while using it via your usb port.

The Vamo is great, but I wouldn't take it out for a walk :D It's huge [in 18650 mode at least, not so bad in it's 18350 mini form]

With the Vamo you have to buy separate batteries and a good charger. Making it not so cheap. With the itaste VV 3 your set to go, just keep it charged.

Haven't smoked since Monday and not even had the urge. I still have some baccy not even looked at it. I am really pleased with the evic I got and an using a tw dda. Think I will look for a better one and quite possibly pick up a protank 2.

Yours is alot cheaper, so far think £33 is cheapest here and still just the device

Do you get most of your stuff there? your flavours confuse me what are the DEA ones? they are more expensive?

Going back to the leaking gurgling clearomisers which I seemed to be suffering with. I did put a thread up on UKV, some have said remove the top wick, others have suggested replacing, also try a a mix with more VG as it is slightly thicker. I have tried both ways with the wicks so far and I was getting a better vape with the one on top, what has really improved it though is this. The Evod is going like Casey Jones`s Cannonball Express now :lol: This Snake Oil is soooo lush :love:

My protank 2 is gurgling after 24 hours and had some juice from the mouthpiece earlier :( the Novas seem to be fairing better :)

Using the provari can check the atomisers and batteries are behaving so not sure what caused the leak in the protank.

My flavours? :D

I get some stuff from there and also use thebestshop.eu [currently closed until the 28th], both are very prompt.

Never tried the DEA juices, but I can tell you that Vaperus' own 'twilight' juice is lovely. I grab a bottle with each order from there. It's a hard flavour to pin, but it's kind of fruity, I get raspberry, orange and strawberry from it. It's different to other fruit ones though. Give it a go :)

E-smokeireland, who I did a product shoot for recently, have taken over houseofliquids Irish sales. So I can now get my precious Virginia prime without having to pay loads for postage :)

On Vaperus I had clocked up enough points to knock €9 off my itaste too ;)

Also if you use the code Irishvape [I think] you get a reduction ;)

The juices i do need to try more and usually i ignore any with odd names ie ones that aren't sweet/fruit/drink and are obvious what they are.... mind you i guess if i read descriptions i would maybe find out lol:bonk:
 
But she can get it for that brand new on the site I gave ;)

I'm still using mine away here, with a blue iClear 16, and blue tip I bough on the side. Looks pretty cool. Not too gone on the glittery style of the 'chameleon' version I got, might pass this on to the missus at some point and get me a plain black. But I'm loving it besides. It's just been working away without fault, just a great little pick up and use device. Unlike my Vamos where I have to keep changing batteries, and some clearo's won't fire on them because of the recessed connection - though I have found that when I remove the collar from the Vamo V3, it works much better. This iTaste is my #1 for now. If it had been available when I first bought all the ego twist batteries [which are fine, just not as good as this] I'd have saved a lot of money. Probably wouldn't have bought that second Vamo.

Have you blocked an air hole, or are you using an airflow controller? A tighter draw does that for me, particularly when the juice gets low. It seems to be a question of the pressure difference between the centre tube and outer tank. Also, try re-filling sooner. Both generations of the pro tank are prone to flooding when the juice level gets low. Keeping it topped up helps.
 
Both pro-tanks [V1] I have give me gurgles at best of times. Same with the Puri-tanks [which I prefer, as you can change tips], again, I have 2. Same issue. No matter how careful I am when putting together and filling, being very careful not to get juice in the centre hole - I get gurgles. Drives me nuts.
 
As a thought is there anyway we could have a list at the top maybe for all recommended shops kits juices mods etc... People could add to when they find something they like?

It would be a huge list. The range of options is there because we all have different tastes. Some like loads of vapour and aren't bothered about flavour. Others want the best flavour but are not bothered about throat hit. Some like PG heavy juices, others VG etc etc.

Plus new models and juices appear every day. There was, what, 4 months between the Protank 1 and 2.

A dedicated forum like UKV is a better way to keep abreast of technical and juice developments.

Its worth noting that a lot of the currently available options, and rapid hardware development, may disappear if medical regulation is introduced. The worst case scenario is cig-alikes may be the only game in town. If Vaping is working for you (not you personally, Cg, but all of us) then make sure your MP and MEPs know about it and know that they risk driving us back to smoking if they get the regulation question wrong.
 
Aye, I'm on UKV too, keep meaning to check back in.

But it's nice that there's a thread for this purpose here too. Some may not want to venture out to e-cig forums, might seem a stretch too far. Keep it simple likes.
 
I'm trying to keep it simple but it's a minefield out there and can be confusing.. But I do understand perhaps a list might be just too big...
 
I chose the provari for the same reason, simple to use and very easy with tanks with no faf :)
 
My head was wrecked when I began looking into the range of tanks and mods and extras out there. Best to ignore a lot of it, or you'll suffer the dreaded shinyitis :D Next thing you know you'll own at least one of everything!

I nearly got a provari when we were having trouble finding the Semovar. Svoemesto do a collar ring for provari that makes the Kayfun look very tidy on it. How are you getting on with yours?
 
Only had it a couple of days but love it already. The 18490 batteries last for a full day at work which is generally 13 hours from the time I leave to return, am using tanks again which are much easier than cartos so a very happy bunny indeed :)

Yep exactly! The more I look the more confused..... But I liked shinyitis anyway so that's not new lol
 
I bought one of the cheap ego blisters the other day and all's been fine until tonight for the most part.

The battery didnt seem to be taking/holding charge that well.
I thought it could be the charger so stupidly decided to use the charger from my 10 motives chargable to attempt to charge my ego.

Stupidly I didnt check the chargers, bar the threads were the same. Seems the ego charger is 4.2v and the motives a 5v.

The batt light started to flash alot so I disconected it, which is lucky( checking online it seems the motives converts the voltage in the battery and the ego via the charger, this could have made the battery explode)

Now as soon as you screw a clearomiser on it starts up and the clearomiser heats up.

Guess its going to be disposed off now.

Just to let anyone who didnt know that the voltages were different between batts/chargers
 
I think I am showing early signs of shinyitus :gag: The Evic is getting more tempting by the minute :)

It doesn't charge from a USB cable. That, and the ability to customise it with 3rd party tubes and caps, are the best things about the eVic (IMO, of course).

And thanks to Rich for posting the link to that site. You found my lost cherry! It was their "cherry bomb" juice that I bought with my first iTaste. :)
 
You can use third party tubes on the smoktech AFAIK

Is the ability to charge from usb is worth double the price? Not here. I looked at the Evic in the past but opted for the much cheaper Vamo instead.

Cheers Keith, have taken a quick look and looked at a few reviews. How long you had the Vamo? They were another contender, I see they have a V4 now :lol:
 
Not seen the V4 yet, must look into that. I have a V2 SS and a V3. I much prefer the v2. I prefer the brighter display and find it just easier change options. It's better built too, being stainless steel rather than chrome plated.

You pretty much have a v4 already. Just take the insides of the v3 and put them in the v2 body =v4
 
Having major leak issues with my kanger evod clearo, I must be doing something wrong but I have no idea where, I'm in London till late tomoz night and I'm just glad I bought my old clearo just incase or I'd be without
