E-Cigarettes

My ego batteries are still going strong after about 43 weeks so I imagine the MVP's would last at least as long, probably longer. I'd still rather shell out the few pounds for a new battery than for a whole new kit though so if removing the screws lets you remove the battery, that's a thumbs up!

As far as I am aware yours would be like any other ecig battery, they will shut down early so to speak. If you totaly discharge a battery they get damaged, they have to keep a certain amount in them so they can be recharged again.

I guess anything can fail but I think this is well build

Having had lots of battery problems before, I feel more confident in this one, we can only wait and see

Anyone had issues with the i clear 16's?

All 3 of mine only a month or two old are falling apart,im not the gentlest with them but haven't droped them.

On all 3 the metal screw part from the drip tip has come unloose, so they could be pulled straight off and the plastic tank bits are moving from the bases on 2 off them.

Ive lost a few fills over the past week or so due to this..put it in my pocket and it moves letting the juice out..though I never seem to find any wet patches !!

just started work so was going to buy a new battery.Was planning on going to go for the itaste v3 due to it being similar size to an ego and liking the 16's but may have to re consider..are there any mods that aren't so big?
 
Sorry, I haven't tried the 16's and haven't had the 30's long enough to compare :(

So when I ordered my SVD kit, I ordered a few dekang liquids to try because they were so cheap. They're all pretty disgusting. I just got curious though and made a 50/50 mix of the grape and the strawberry milk. Both, on their own, taste nothing like they're supposed to - they just taste yuck. Mixing them together is nice. There's no hint at all of the strawberry milk but it sweetens the grape just enough. Now it's a really sweet, artificial, sweetie-like grape flavour.

You know those kids balls that used to be about? About the size of a football and incredibly bouncy. They had faces on and were fruit scented? The grape one was purple and this tastes how that smelled. Yummy :D
 
Haha I wondered where you was going with the balls!.. I know the one you mean, the purple smelt nice!

As for the 16's I use them and so far no issues, I get mine from myepack.

My vaping taste buds have gone on strike!

I can smell the flavours ok in my nose and on my breath, so nothing wrong with the equipment just my taste buds not working :shrug:

Mine went super-sensitive at about 2-3 weeks, then settled down a week or so later. You're not withdrawing from nicotine, but you are coming off all the other chemicals in smoke. It's quite normal.

Yeah I just read elsewhere that you can lose tasting the flavours in the liquids but it comes back in a few days

When I've been vaping the same liquid, my go-to is strawberry. VERY strong taste that never dulls down. I never struggle tasting that at full volume, yummy :D I have only tried one strawberry though and it's made in-shop here.

Cinnamon is one flavour I don't touch. I heard there's a new Farsalinos study that suggests it's still safer than smoking but quite a lot less safe than most other flavours.

seem that reading that and links on there that there is/could be issues with custard/buttery flavoured liquids being bad for you also, due to a chemical they contain(diacetyl).

which is actually pretty nasty stuff

Capella custard flavour (and hence GVC) is diacetyl-free. No popcorn lung risk there. :)
 
No taste again this morning, very irritating as the smell is there

Never tasted camera TBH. (Or first hand vapour.)
 
Well after a couple of days where I could not taste anything from vaping, now everything is very sweet.

Someone offered me a fag today (said no) for the first time the smell was sickly :gag: just hope I never go back to them.

TBH I've not had the need/want for a cig even without the taste of the vap
I guess that's because I'm using 24mg

The next step will be getting that down but won't be for awhile yet

No rush for that Helen, just as and when you want to :) I started on 18mg nearly a year ago, went up to 24/28mg and am now on about 12mg.

Had to adjust the pin in one of my iclears for the first time last night. I'd literally just filled it too -_-
