E Chambre Hardman Exhibition - Liverpool

Last Saturday I went to see an exhibition of "Liverpool through the Lens" at the Victoria Gallery and Museum in Liverpool. All the images were taken by Edward Chambre Hardman and showed Liverpool from the 30's to 60's through a series of black and white images. WOW! absolutely stunning and has enthused me to do more B&W.
The exhibition is on until the end of this month.
The building that houses the gallery is absolutely stunning, and serves superb meals.
All in all, well worth a visit, although I suspect those who live in Liverpool will be aware of all this.

Think I'll have to go down and see the exhibition. The Victoria building Is the original Uni Redbrick and It's free unlike the Hardman Rodney street studio.

Don't think theres any tog In Liverpool who Isn't a fan of his work.

I got his book for Xmas, though its very green tinted more than b&w. Still need to visit this exhibition. Might do this week.
