Dye Sub advice please

I'm asked to cover several events and am looking to buy a dye sub printer to do onsite printing.

The last time I looked into it a couple of years ago the DS40 seemed a good bet.

Would people still recommend that model or are there newer alternatives available now that I should consider?

DS40 is a great printer, as is the Mitsi CPD70. Both are still current models.

Both definitely the current models. There is talk of a new DNP model due in the spring so will probably be on the Photomart stand at The Photography Show

From all I have read those that have the DS40 and the RX-1 prefer the images from the DS40

Dunno, not used a DS40 and not used this one in anger yet, but the test prints I've done seem nice and reasonably fast.
