Well, I bought an earlier version in a Jessops closing down sale for £25 and qualified for a free upgrade to the latest version. If I'd have had to pay full whack for it then I almost certainly wouldn't have bothered. I find it just far too slow, although it's a lot better than it used to be. I much prefer Lightroom for raw processing. The only time I ever use DxO is to correct distortions with a wide-angle lens. For that it's unbeatable.
What you probably need is opinions from heavy users. There must be some out there.
