I am currently having some issues between DxO Optics Pro 10 and Lightroom 6, just looking for some advice as it is hindering me when using DxO which I do find fantastic.

D7200
24-120 F4
No Flash
AWB

This is a high ISO image but it is apparent across all ISO ranges and using different lenses, no flash, flash photography with & without filters.

The problem is how DxO derives the as shot white balance values and how they differ from Lightroom's, with Lightroom showing them much more natural, the DxO consistently turns people yellow/green.
Bear in mind the images are a crop of a bloke stood in front of a pool table lit with florescent lighting, also pay attention to the Sky information on the television in the background, the ICC profile in DxO is set to 'current display profile' to match that of the device used in Lightroom (sRGB).

I am just using WB cards for now but in well lit 'easy' AWB situations it still comes in very different, the tint particularly.

Any thoughts? these are all png screen grabs.

Lightroom values input to DxO manually (notice how it looks more natural now in DxO but still higher contrast and the TV is different)

DxO values input into Lightroom manually (the guy looks ill, still differences in contrast and TV colour rendition)

Any ideas? All help much appreciated, I have used Lightroom for a few years now but only recently got DxO so it could be lack of knowledge in that field, I have searched this forum and used google but unless I am searching for the wrong thing cant find much information on it.

Cheers

the ICC profile, is a monitor profile, change it to another profile.

Also the way each software reads the camera input is different.

Whenever the software loads the image, it is interpreting things differently.

Perfect I will look into it, I have calibrated my monitor so would you recommend using sRGB for the most universally rendered colours (if that makes sense). I did read somewhere that the way the EXIF data is read to derive the white balance values can be different, particularly with Nikons as it is derived from RGB values whereas as Canon is provided in an actual K value.

Forgot to mention once the image is sent back to Lightroom as a TIF is has the same tinge (although this does make sense)

Would you agree that when the values in DxO are set to that from Lightroom, the picture looks more natural in terms of skin tone, also, the purple fringing around the text and the missing colour in the blue box to me is inexplicable unless there has been some image process for display in Lightroom?

Cheers for the response

Not a problem mate, just as another point, I just did a flash photography session, the as shot WB settings (set to flash in camera) are exactly the same when loaded into DxO as the DxO flash settings, whereas they are different in Lightroom. The DxO (and as shot as per DxO) were much more natural and as far as I am concerned correct. I will upload the raw files from the session tomorrow, for now andyscott I will attach the raw file of the photo in question, bear in mind you might not be able to load it into LR5 (could be wrong) due to the age of the NEF for D7200 format.

Just want to say thanks for your help, much appreciated - don't judge/critique the photo its going to be deleted but it was just used for an example.
Sorry for the late post - spent ages trying to find somewhere to upload the RAW file only to realise I could just use Dropbox....

i have looked at the file in lightroom cc and dxo 10 elite.

the thing that maybe changing it is DXO smart lighting, turned it off and they look pretty damn close

Yeah, I have every correction off (bar the white balance setting when manually adjusted)

For now I think I will have to manage manually inputting the values at some stage along the workflow.

Cheers for looking into it andyscott, much appreciated
