DXO Import/ Export and Lightroom

Does anyone use DXO Optics Pro 9.5?

I'm giving it a spin but it is supposed to take Raw files exported from LR then DXO Exports them back to LR. My problem is that LR isn't importing them. I have to sync the folder.

The smart light, lens correction and noise reduction appear to be better then LR (but lets not get into that discussion on this thread (y))
 
DXO re-imports the files into LR as a collection, with the images ordered by date in a collection called DXO Optics Pro. You can see and continue to edit the processed file by selecting it from the collection. They will also still turn up in the original folder, but as you say, the folder then has to be synched.

Are you exporting it to Lightroom using File>Plug in extras>Transfer to DXO Optics Pro, then exporting it bak to Lightroom from DXO? If so, you should have a collection called DXO Optics Pro with the images listed by date.
 
Yes, that's exactly what I'm doing.
I've asked DXO tech and still waiting for them to come up with a solution. I was hoping some users might have found this bug and a solution before
 
The re-import should be recognised by LR. Make sure u reimport as RAW file
 
I have just reinstalled DXO. Still no luck.
DXO Tech suggest the problem is the way my drive is setup as my %userprofiles% variable points to D:\users rather then the standard C:\users. This is because all user data is stored on a seperate hdd from the system files.

I have tried exporting back in all formats and LR doesn't import any.
 
Sorted.
My temp & tmp variables had a mismatch
