i used to use nero but since upgrading to windows 7 i havnt had a burning programe

question is the microsoft one any good never used it and dont know the capabillitys of it

if not

what can i buy and where from i dont want to spend a fortune buying it so the cheaper the better

i use it for several reasons burning photos to disc for models , backing up my music for my car and some dvds when fishing/camping out

My (free) favs in order:

1. Ashampoo Burning Studio 6
2. InfraRecorder
3. IMGBurn

I've always just used Nero, the burning part of the suite is the best I've seen, the rest I hardly ever use.

you should download a live cd of pclinuxos2010, you boot from the downloaded cd.
in this free operating system there is an excellent cd/dvd burner called k3b.
also you get open office, firefox and a multitude of software, all from live cd with no changes to your windows machine.

win 7 costs money for add on software, pclinuxos is free.
linux is much faster, simpler and best of all its free.

you can load it to your hdd if you like it afyer tying and then have dual boot on your computer.

im a pc and i hate windoze.
