Can this be done (ideally with free software) - I want to copy a DVD to iTunes then play on my iTouch??

I used DVD Shrink and Mediacoder after watching a tutorial on Youtube but when playing the video on iTunes it worked but had blocks of colour all over.

Andy give me a couple of hours and I'll tell you what I use. It's dead simple, I bung a dvd in my pc and tell it to output to Itunes, hit go and leave it do it's stuff.

It was free as well.
 
+1 here for handbrake. Use it to transfer films to both my iPad and iPhone. Easy to use, a couple of clicks and just leave it to do its thing.

I use Aiseesoft DVD to Ipad convertor, it doesn't just do Ipad, it does Ipad, Iphone, Ipod and most other varients of I- device.

Well worth a look at as it's nice and simple to use, it has to be for me or I can't figure them out LOL.
 
DVDFab?? not tried it myself for ipad/ipod/etc but great for doing AVI's.


Not free though.....

+1 Works really well on my iPad and has loads of capabilities :)
