I have noticed some dust witch i think must be inside the camera..
You can see a shadow on some of my pics..
its not on the lens or view finder because i have cleaned them..
It is a canon 400d and i think it might be on th plate inside the body.
Any tips for removing it as i dont want to touch it ..
I have tried blowing but its still there..
Thanks..

enjoy.

I haven't looked at your pics but...

If it was on the lens it wouldn't show because it would be WAY out of focus.
If it was on the shutter it wouldn't show because the shutter moves out of the way when you take the pic.

It's on the sensor, or to be technically correct it's on the glass screen immediately in front of the sensor. You'll see that the specs are sharper at small apertures, because the dust is out of focus at large apertures.

You need to clean the sensor.

How do i do that..
dont want to be poking round and damaging something..
cheers

I just used some baby cotton buds (the baby cotton buds are a lot smaller than regular ones) and just lightly touched the dust speckles on the sensor, which lifted off on the cotton bud.

There are MUCH better things to use than cotton buds. Have a look at the link I posted above. :)

I know fella, I just found that the cotton bud fitted nicely and took a few seconds to shift 1 or 2 spots that were on it. Job done. :)

The less complication, the less chance I would mess something up.
