Yes
my 35mm Nikkor has a couple of dust specks visible inside the rear element.
It doesn't show up in any pictures etc, but I wondered if it's possible to get it cleaned, and if so, what sort of cost is likely to be involved?

things like this are pretty normal, it wont make the slightest bit of difference to your photos. so i wouldnt worry about it.

as to the cost im not sure, i think it will depend on the lens. you can easily get a free quote from a camera repair place though.

Ok, thanks. I am looking to sell the lens and replace it with a zoom.
Any idea how much I should reduce the sale price by to account for this?

Which 35mm is it? This will help with the price.

Nikkor 35mm AF-S DX 1.8G
It's perfect apart from the dust, and is fully boxed with hood, end caps, pouch and manual.

I think they normally go for about £90. No need to reduce the price unless you cannot sell it at that price.

you may get more than you expected for the lens if you describe the dust as 'vintage dust'
