I've recently upgraded to CS5 and within the raw editor have been playing with Duo Tones.

I 'think' I understand the first principles, where you choose a Hue i.e. a certain colour and then choose to saturate the image from 0% to 100% with that colour, being able to choose one Hue / Saturation for the highlights and then again for the shadows.

I was wondering if anyone had typical settings they use to get some very pleasing effects? All credit to Ryanboy for sharing some settings in a C&C thread a while back which had settings of:

Highlights - Hue 70
Shadows - Hue 270
Saturation of both - 28

Seemed to add a yellow hue to the highlights and a blue to the shadows, which was really effective when coupled to other PP changes. or equally as a stand alone change.

Can anyone make any other good typical suggestions for good settings?

Cheers,

Marcus

There are a lot about to download as presets, I don't use them all that often though.
A google search should keep you busy for a while.
One I have used is
62
221
and 63% on both, gives a bit of a cross process effect

Thanks for that. I've done a search on Google and lots of actions, but want to see what the good people on TP use, and possibly for what I suppose. Hope to use that as a basis to form my own style(s).
