Dumbest tog ever?

surely if you must get that shot , this is what wireless remote triggers ( or wifi control) are for

That's the first thing I thought. The second ... are these people partially blind? To be that close to a target? If so ... then he was a bit simple to be sat there.

Also, I hate the term "tog".

I meant, the term, in this context. And don't be silly, I don't buy duvets! ... she does :P

Maybe we should call them "φωτός". Its the Greek word for 'light' which is where the English word 'photographer' originates from. Actually, the term 'tog' is closer than the word 'photographer' to its origins - if you look at the Greek word, it has ...'tog' at the end!
