Dumb question about light use time

Ok bit of a dumb question.....but.

I have some cheap Neevar 250DI lights, how long can I use them before I risk them over-heating? I appreciate this is not a simple thing to answer, but I'm talking generally speaking, as in if I'm taking a few photos every minute - how long will they go for. I'd imagine the power will be set pretty low on both units as I found even on low they seem to give out plenty of light for basic model/headshot type stuff.

I've never heard of 'Neevar' but a bit of digging around shows it to be a light sold on Ebay (and elsewhere) under a variety of different names.

As you say, they're cheap lights - and they don't have a cooling fan, but they don't have a powerful modelling lamp either, and they don't recycle very quickly so they shouldn't get too hot. I'm not sure how useful my opinion is on this, but my guess is that they'll be fine for continued use without overheating.

And if they do overheat, there should be an overheat protection that will shut them down to prevent damage.

Again Gary thanks for replying to me, appreciated.
