dumb newbie question?

Hi again guys,
looking to add a lens to my new purchase but got a question on fittings:

I have a vivitar 3800N (k bayonet fitting) and have seen a pentax k mount 75-150 zoom lens, is this the correct fitting?

Pentax-K sounds right for a K-Mount camera. I've never heard of the Vivitar though.

Just Googled it and yes, it does have a Pentax-K mount. Go right ahead.
