Hi all,

For the Duke of Edinburgh award (look here) I have chosen photography as my skill, meaning I have to do something photography related once a week for sixth months.

I already do this obviously, but I have to get someone to sign my book to prove I've done it and to say that I'm learning from them.

Any suggestions as to where I could apply for? I was thinking the local newspaper or photography studio, which are the obvious ones..

You could have a hunt around local studios/snappers and ask if they need a general dogs body who's keen and willing to learn anything they can offer, for no payment of course, this way you might find someone will snap your hand off if they can get some cheap/free help in return for passing on a few tips/tricks of the trade. Plus they should be able to sign your whatever. HTH

Any colleges nearby that does photography courses? :)
 
Hmmm local studios will be busy in the run up to christmas so might like some help, local newspapers, local events photographers, any events you see advertised get in touch see if they want any photos taking to document the event.
 
Cheers for the ideas, I'm thinking of phoning the local newspaper on Wendesday, and might phone the photography studio on the high street..
