Is Anyone here doing Duel Screen with aperture with their Macbook Pro Or Macbook even.

At the moment I have a External Monitor Connected to my MBP. I have aperture on the external Monitor but what annoys me is that the taskbar of the Aperture stays on the MBP itself you know at the tope where you find File, Edit, etc

Is there a way round this or is this how it works?

You have to select the external display as the master in the system preferences.

There no option getting my external as a master only a duel or Mirror ..

Or am i getting this wrong?

I couldn't find a way around this, so I'm interested to see if anyone else has.
It seems to be an OSX thing, rather than specifically Aperture related.
It is a very good incentive to learn the keyboard shortcuts though.

I'll have a look for the setting tonight. I've got a MacPro now so don't have the external monitor plugged in but will move the cable back over and work it out for you. I have my MBP so that it automatically moves the main display to the external monitor when one is connected, but that menu only appears when a monitor is plugged in.

I think that's what I did, can't remember now as I'm not at the machine.

It can be done, I've been running my MBP like that for months. BTW when you don't have the external screen plugged in it defaults back to being on the laptop screen, then swaps back when you plug in the external monitor. Completely simple once you have it set up, as expected with a Mac. :)
