You can but the meaning alters slightly

do you still wish it would stop snowing, means that you may now, not wish it would stop snowing, and would prefer it to snow

do you still eats sweets? means that you used to eat sweets but may have stopped.
do you ever eat sweets? means that you may not have eaten them

means pretty much the same as above, that its likely that you don't stay in your home country for holidays just a slightly different way of putting it

I find that the word "Ever" is an open ended question, and "Always" implies your question. This may be incorrect though in correct English terms.

your way assumes that you are f***ing and eating sweets at the same time
