Dubai 7s

I'm off to the Dubai 7's next week and wondered if I would have any issues using my Bigma 50-500 at the stadium from the stands ? I will only collect my tickets at the game so don't know what the t&c's are. I am only planning to take pictures for my personal use....

duh, you found me out.....those appear to be from a few years ago, probably 2012 since that is when the tourney occurred on a 29th Nov - 1st Dec...this years is 4th- 6th Dec but I digress as it appears I should be ok.

TBH, I was more interested in peoples personally experiences....has anyone been prevented from taking in a big lens or using it ?
