Was toying with the idea of up grading my 20" iMac as I want a bigger screen but have been thinking about saving some dosh (for a 5D perhaps :D) and buying a secondary larger screen for the Mac.

So if I had a secondary screen is there a way that I can separate the tools from the main editing window in Lightroom 2.7? I'm guessing it's easier with PS Elements?

If you do have dual monitors, How do you find using them?

Thanx

You dont need to seperate them, just click the "nd Monitor icon and choose 'Loup' and it will open any size you want with no tools. When you eidit in the first window it will update in the other monitor as you go.

Oooh that sounds very cool! I take it you're talking about the icons in the display preferences?

Thanks Pete, this will save me buying a new computer!!!!!

One important thing Andy, what ever you do, Calibrate them as near as you can or it will drive you up the wall.:bang:

I found 2 19" square monitors are best for me, any larger or Wide screen does my old eyes no favours.:shake:
