Yes
I'm getting to buy a new camera (my first camera) with the idea of doing more of video shoots than photo shoots in mind. Which one should I go for?

There is a good range between the two - my preference would be the A7R III (Mirrorless) but I guess the first question to ask would be what is your budget?

Another factor must be the size of your hands/fingers. I use an Olympus m43 camera, but sometimes find the knobs and buttons to be a bit on the small side, and very fiddly to use. I might be better using a dslr.

If your budget is quite low and video is the priority then look at the Panasonic range, Most do 4K video and are looked upon as great cameras for video and stills. Used prices are low especially with the lenses. Talking of lenses there is a massive range of lenses from the Micro 4/3 system.

I'll echo AndyWest on the Panasonic range for video and a good selection of lenses but as others have highlighted, a budget would be a starting point.

For video I’d recommend mirrorless.
