DSLR+holiday = take it or leave it

We tend to take cruises as this gives us a chance to see a wide range of places and some fantastic photo oppotunities.
My DSLR is the first thing to get packed whenever we go away.
I know a few people who don't like the idea of carrying a camera bag everywhere they go but I wouldn't want to be without a selection of lenses.
For me personally, a holiday is for taking in stunning scenery, culture and buildings and with my kit at hand I am in heaven.

It all depends on type of holiday you are going on, sight seeing holiday (yes) beach holiday chilling & tanning (no)

I am just back from a short weekend at a friends in Edinburgh

Was late flight Friday, early flight back on Sunday so only had Saturday and we were planning on going for a drink. So decided not too bring my DSLR

But regret it, as there was so many lovely shots i could of tried, but we did end up a little tipsy :) so maybe was for the best
