Hi, I am currently trying to set up a website using Dreamweaver, first of all, am i using a good program? Secondly, ive done the homepage, how do i open a new page?

Or if you know any decent sites, people that could advise me that would be great,

Im also open to ideas of other programs to use to make my photography business website..

Thanks

Just click File > New

That will create a new page then save as to the same directory as your current page and then just link between them as you would normally. I have used Dreamweaver but I don't actually do much web design!

Your using a great program but it needs a fair bit of time to learn. A real powerful but quick to learn one is Serif WebPlus X4 and only costs peanuts. There are always tokens around to get the price down to around the £50 mark.
There is a free version to try it out with :)
Worth a look..

Dreamweaver is highly capable, but its not an easy program to dive straight into if you havent done web design before.

The all in one packahes like clickpic and MR site are a good start as they have all the hosting and everything thrown in with an easy to use content managemnet system

Dreamweaver is pretty much the standard tool and can be used in ways that don't need much knowledge. It has a few ready made layout templates too. Just google Dreamweaver tutorials, you should find something to get you going.

If you're on a Mac simpler alternatives are iWeb or RapidWeaver.
