Dream set up

I just bought it - 5D2, 17-40L, 24-105L, 70-200L 4 IS :D

Edit: gonna hire a really long lens for birding, as and when. Be nice to have a 7D to put it on, but you can't have everything.
 
Gosh.

I'm not sure if I want to move to full frame as I've got used to APS-C. So, I'll settle for a little higher resolution and higher dynamic range, effective dust protection and a standard RAW / DNG that Raw Shooter Essentials will read so I don't have to use Canon DPP which I personally think is a clunky pile of poo.

Clunky yes, but it's not that bad. I think a lot of newbies would be better off using this for a bit and spending their money on glass or a tripod rather than rushing to get Lightroom/Aperture. I actually have Lightroom and I still prefer DPPs RAW processing.
 
Should arrive today. Nikon D700 and 28-70 2.8.
Yet to order Siggy 50mm 1.4. Gonna be checking out the new Siggy 70-200 with OS/VR/IS thats just been announced. Oh and a Speedlight.

I'm very comfortable with my current kit, but if I were to dream, it would be a full resolution Blad HD4 with all the lenses and trimmings, and a computer good enough to work those files, and a printer which would do it justice...

Oh, and I would also have a framing setup where I can churn my own frames out.

For me it would be a Mamiya DM series, probably the 22 to start with as the cost will be good, if money no object then a Phase One with the 65+ back.

What I've got plus 1D mkIV, 85mm f/1.2L, 180mm f/3.5L 500mm f/4L IS, Gitzo Tripod with Wimberley Head, 10 stop ND, Lee ND Grads. I'm getting there...
 
Leica M9, 21mm f/2.8 Elmarit, 35mm f/2 Summicron and a 90mm f/2.8 Tele-Elmarit-M would be a good walk about kit and, since I have not woken up to reality yet, a Contax 645, 35mm f/3.5 Distagon, 80mm f/2 Planar, 120mm f/4 Apo-Makro Planar, 210mm f/4 Sonnar and a Phase One P65+ digital back for 'serious' work.
 
sony a900, 35mm f1.4, 85mm f1.4 and 50mm f1.4, probably a 24-70mm and 70-200mm for when i need versatility, and a good supply (6 approx) of hvl f58am's, with some studio equipment (stands, brollies etc.) and a nice set of PW's....ruddy hell i sound like a child creating his cristmas list:D
 
I'm fine with tmy current kit, but if I suddenly came into a lot of money I'd probably buy myself a leica S2 with a set of lenses
