I already own a mid-engined two seater convertible with a flat six engine.

I already own a Hillman Imp (Singer Chamois to be precise) and a Davrian

I'd like, but will never own, an F355.

I'd also like an Ultima GTR - I'd build it myself of course. One day ...

Nod. Had a 1959 vintage LR (Series II or IIA I think, can't remember) with a Ford V6. That was fun, it actually went quite well, at least up to 50mph, at which point the transmission whine got so loud it drowned out all possibility of speech

Speed 6 Bentley (I suppose an 8 litre would do, at a pinch!)
Daytona Cobra coupé
John Dodd's Merlin engined special
A T-bucket with a Jag 5.3
'57 Chevy BelAir.

Screw practicallity!

For me it would be

1 Dodge viper
2 Mclaren Slr
3 Hummer H2
4 Bugatti Veyron
5 2010 Shelby GT500

My first car was a Series IIA lightweight with truck cab.......which after a while I replaced the old 2 1/4 with a Rover V8, & the diffs with Range Rover ones :D The thing went very well, caught out many a boy racer :D However the downsside was the half shafts only lasted about 6 months
I have very fond memories of that vehicle
Now there is a man who has taste in cars, & camera :D
corrected for accuracy ;) :D

My last half shaft went on a roundabout in Devizes and brought the whole of Wiltshire to a standstill.:bonk:

well i like my Audis so i guess i'd have to have one of the new shape S8's as my old shape one is getting a bit long in the tooth now! wanted one ever since i saw Ronin & its been awesome over the last 6 years
i can easily add a couple more though.......

so its....

Audi S8
Audi RS6 Avant (handy for all the RC gear when we go racing:thumbs:)
Audi R8
Fiat 131 Abarth
Citroen SM (Maserati engine:thumbs:)

well the first 3 will be awesomely reliable so i could afford to add a couple of cars that would never work

plus maybe a Porsche 962 for trackdays :naughty:

AC Cobra 427
MG Metro 6R4
Ferrari F40
Bowler Wildcat
Lotus Evora

:)

Lancia Stratos

TVR Griffith

Ginetta G4

Lancia Fulvia 1600HF

Dallara F398

Fortunately I have access to the keys of all of them :) (except the Dallara which doesn't have a key)

A real one?

And finally, the two Suzuki 'Pikes Peak' Rally Cars:

As far as I know all of these cars do exist... but Gran Turismo 3 fans probably know where I saw and drove them all! The game is made incredibly easy by the Pikes Peak cars - nothing comes close to them!

Show us the Stratos!!! Such a great looking car imo, and great performance when they work. Think it would be in my top 5 or close as well...

What do you mean when they work? Stratoses are very reliable... The one on Top Gear at the end of the year was a kit car.

This is our car: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K-2KHr8aPG4 as borrowed by Jeremy Clarkson for one of his DVD's. Some of the driving I'm doing as he didn't fit in it well.

Funny how old Landies seem to eat half shafts and other parts of the final drive chain! My first Landy was an S IIa Diesel and in 4 years, I got through 4 rear diffs and 3 long side half shafts. It did get used off road, so I can accept that there was a fair amoung of torque going through the components sometimes but all the failures were on the road. Got quite quick at dropping the rear propshaft and pulling the halfshafts out but the thing was a pig to drive in FWD, especially with no power steering.

Hehe, I know I was just being silly. I saw that episode of TG. :) Musta been a wee bit nerve racking letting Clarkson drive it... :D
