Just been to Oxford to try for an urban shot. What was that about weather? I was like a drowned rat.
I think you are under selling yourself Toni.Well, you may not be able to polish a turd, but you can try to roll it in glitter. My entry from last nights trip is up.

I'd rather be modest and have others lift me than need taking down a couple of pegs, but thanks Allan.![]()

Mine's in for May, as usual I've shot the same subject with both digital and film one for each challenge.
I think I have my location sorted for mays theme but like @LeeRatters i need the right conditions
Darkest Spring for a long time, here anyway.
I'm struggling for Urban, I may need to leave my comfort zone![]()
I'm not far from built up areas, just don't like them, I'd rather be laying in the mud in the middle of no whereThese last two haven't been too bad for me. I live in Bristol but easily spend most of my photo time just out of it![]()

I got a banker shot after work the other day, but have a few other ideas to try too.
My Urban entry is in. I did wander around Norwich and took a few photos but I was not impressed with my efforts. So I thought I'd create my own city in my workshop!
Thank you ToniAnd a very good and creative job you did too.
Urban2 by Martin H, on FlickrI know, I can't find anything interesting around here, does a bird on my shed countGetting late Gav![]()

Good point.. I'd best get thinking.. the Urban hoggie is hiding againThat might be more suited to the Sheds theme later in the year?
Well I have a shot in mind but it is with a long telephoto and the weather, although dry, is not clear enough for the shot to work.
shows the raw sidebut thought it very apt for the topic.
That would mean taking my camera out in publicYou have the long weekend - go into town (wherever that may be), try some Street maybe? urban architecture? change the perspective - look up, shoot at ground level, use a different lens...
I'm sure you'll all find something
I hear you on that one, mine only see's countryside and mudThat would mean taking my camera out in public![]()
