Downloading youTube & FaceBook videos for offline viewing

I have for youTube found a suitable program that runs as a standalone program and works nicely as needed. NB for such simple tasks I really like programs that have no need to "be installed..."

However, there is no similar such program that I can yet find for downloading FB videos

If anyone has been doing this and knows of either a standalone program, or as I have found a website type downloader that claim to offer that method, I would welcome the insight and user experiences.

That is the whole reason I am cautious.

It is only for my own offline viewing so hopefully AOK and in regard to the youTube one I spoke about, that also came about by a recommendation and is, based on my checks, clean and reliable and does continue to be developed.

I've not heard anything bad about 4K Video Downloader, and it gets reviewed on mainstream tech sites like PC Mag and places like Trustpilot. Virustotal and Malwarebytes are fine with the installer. Probably as safe as any piece of freeware. It does YouTube, too (which is what I use it for).
