Downloading catastrophe

Hi, being a novice with my new Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ60 and having just returned from South Africa with over 300 pics and video clips, I have just attempted to download onto my computer - successfully downloading the pics BUT, having then stupidly deleted all from the camera memory card (!) I've realised that I only saved all into a 'pictures' folder and, in doing so, have lost all my lovely videos. Everything has saved as a JPEG, although I do appear to have two additional zipped folders, the contents of which I cannot open as they appear as JPEG_1 File, JPEG_2 File etc
Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I can retrieve the video format, or is this now an impossibility?

If you haven't used the camera since, take the card out now and look for "file recovery software". Here are a couple of sites to start you off:

Do what has been suggested but under NO circumstances write to the memory card again before recovering your photo's, good luck.
