download standalone LR from Amazon or Adobe ?

you cant download from amazon.

you can download from adobe and use the 30 day trial while you wait for the retail box to be shipped from amazon and then use that code to activate.

either way, done it and no bother.

you cant download from amazon.

They changed it recently. Some digital downloads (including Adobe) are now delivered from the Amazon servers.

Personally I'd still choose to download from Adobe and apply the key.

amazon pricing does go up and down like a yoyo depending on demand.

I bought recently from Amazon (£99 I believe) and I was sent a credit card sized plastic card with all the details on that to register with Adobe and download from there. All worked fine.

the download always used to be subject to different VAT, at least with Adobe, as their download servers were in Ireland. thats why i say download the trial and buy the retail boxed copy for the code.

Amazon download £89.99 now ,thats compared to Adobe £98 ,
