Yesterday I subscribed and downloaded the PS, CC at the special rate of (£8.78P).
It all went fine I even downloaded tutorials.
Today I had a hick up when booting up, resulting in all of the CC installation becoming defunct.
I have uninstalled and deleted everything, and again downloaded CC, it would only install under administrative rights. When I open it, the panel is blank “HELP”.

I have tried and tried to get answers from Adobe I may as well tried to contact Boadicea for all the use it has been.

I am a silver hair old duffer so please reply as if talking to a computer illiterate.

administrative rights are a problem with YOUR computer not the adobe product sounds like you've done something wrong?

Thanks for the quick replies,

Mike, yes but what. It won’t install at all without ad/rights.

Martin, I’ve rebooted and system restored its driving me madder than a mad thing.

What is your PC's system, is it all 64bit, how much ram memory do you have,do you have vista/windows 7/8 ? Info helps

Win 7, 64bit, 6gig.

Needing admin rights to install CC is normal. If your daily account isn't an admin (it's generally not recommended anyway) you will need to enter admin credentials.

I would download one of the cleaner apps from adobe to clear it from your system completely then reinstall it.

Thanks one and all,
Neil I did download the cleaning tool and ran it a couple of time rebooting after each run, until it completed without any errors.
Cloud still wouldn’t behave.
I then came upon a suggestion on a forum, it cured the problem and all is well
It reads…

creative cloud is blank window why?
15-Jul-2013 20:21

Windows 7 64 bit computer. Creative cloud informs me of updates, but on launch nothing appears but a blank window. Header creative cloud and the gear appear. The only options listed with the gear are; help, pin to window area, and quit creative cloud. Removing creative cloud and re-installing fails to fix the problem of a blank window. Cannot update any product using creative cloud, cannot see any thing in cloud window. No way to sign in or out, just quit. Problem for three days now and no support available to fix problem. This means paying for subscription, but not getting access or updates at this point. I feel a bit cheated paying for something, I am not getting!

Windows 7 OOBE is located: C:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Local\Adobe\OOBE - and don't you rename the opm.db?

I could not find anything in the C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe

I followed this, bearing in mind I’m a computer dunce. I was over the moon when CC loaded.

Thanks again for all your help.
